We were contracted by a local food factory to design and upgrade their main electricity supply. The upgrade consisted of us supplying temporary generators so that the production lines in the factory were uninterrupted by the works being carried out on the main supply.
We worked alongside the local DNO to supply a new HV supply, 1000kva transformer & a new section board.
All hands were then on deck to remove the existing LV switch gear, ready to start installing the new switch gear.
The new LV panel board was then installed along with new 500mm parallel supply cables and an upgraded PFC unt. The old overheard HV cables were then removed & the new underground ring main was connected up.
